All Weather Track and Turf Field Coming Soon to Canyon High School!

We are pleased to announce that Canyon High School will be receiving an All Weather Track and Turf Field! At the end of the 2017-18 school year the Orange Unified School District (OUSD) school board and superintendent approved the addition of all weather track & turf fields at three OUSD High Schools: Canyon, Villa Park

Girls & Boys Cross Country Headed to State!

Going into the CIF SS Finals Canyon boys were ranked 13th in division 2 while the girls were a bit further up ranked 8th. Only the top 7 teams qualify for the state meet, so we were not expected by CIF’s official ranking committee to get a berth to the big dance. The races were

Signing Day: April 12, 2017

Signing Day April 12, 2017   Canyon High School Athletics is proud to announce 4 senior Comanches’ moving on to compete at the collegiate level. Signers included: Aaron Rider, Daniel Malinowski, Alexis Espinoza-Castro and Jasmine Guerrier.  Aaron Rider will be competing in Cross Country and Track & Field at California Lutheran University in the fall.

Girls Cross Country Places 3rd at State

After becoming the CIF Southern Section Runner-Up the Comanche Girls Cross Country Team has placed 3rd in state. Sara Leonard lead the way, placing 3rd overall in Division 2. She had the 4th fastest time overall among all CIF Divisions. Leonard will advance to the Nike Cross Country Nationals in Portland, Oregon to represent the Comanches
