Multiple Teams · Canyon High School’s Coach Mike Ogas Resigns as Head Football Coach

Mike Ogas announced his resignation Friday, April 19, after 7 seasons as the Head Football Coach at Canyon High School. 

The CHS Athletics Department fully respects Coach Ogas’s decision and has accepted his resignation. Coach Ogas is a part of CHS Football history winning the program’s first CIF title in 2015 and State runner-up. Coach Ogas was named Coach of the Year in 2015 by the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, Orange County Chapter. 

The CHS Athletics Department commends the hard work and dedication Coach Ogas has given to the football program. Coach Ogas will continue to support CHS in the role of Physical Education teacher.
