Multiple Teams · Congratulations to Varsity CHS Girls Golfers Audrey Shin, Danica Ridge, & Kayla Sam for making it to Round 1 of CIF Individuals


The North Hills League held a two day tournament for league finals at Dad Miller G.C. (par 71) on Tuesday, October 16th and Wednesday, October 17th to determine first and second team awards as well which five players would move on to CIF Individuals Round 1.  The League as a whole sent 24 players- 6 from each team.  Season scoring average was used to determine which players would represent each school in the tournament.

The six Varsity Girls Golfers from Canyon who were invited to the tournament were Kayla Sam, Danica Ridge, Hannah Dreisbach, Audrey Shin, Kendra Sherwood, and Dana Catchpole.  After a long day of playing (walking too) 18 holes of golf the players who made the cut to come back on day 2 were Kayla Sam (68), Danica Ridge (91), Hannah Dreisbach (97), Audrey Shin (88), and Dana Catchpole (91).  After the dust cleared at the end of the day 2 tournament 3 of the 5 North Hills players that will go to Round 1 of CIF Individuals were Canyon Comanches: Kayla Sam (136), Danica Ridge (180), and Audrey Shin (175).
